Date: 2014-05-03 06:16 pm (UTC)If you have the spare cash for the console, I do highly recommend the 3DS/2DS. There are a lot of fun little games, lots of ports/re-releases from the 64-bit era consoles if you didn't get any games from the PSOne/N64 era, and the Nintendo store has a lot of the even older 8-bit and 16-bit classic games in there. (And you have potential infinite memory since the console uses SD cards.. a 2gig one comes with the console, and you can always upgrade.) It also plays all of the original DS games, so if you can FIND a used copy of some of the older DS titles you can play them and have fun. Nintendo puts the other mobile offerings to shame.
